St. Stephen’s College was established in 1881 and was earlier affiliated to Calcutta University, then Punjab University and finally, it is affiliated to Delhi University. It is a co-educational institute and is listed in the top Indian colleges category. St. Stephen’s College has been ranked 8 in College Category by NIRF 2021, ranked 2 for Arts and 3 for Science by India Today 2021.
