The desire to partake knowledge and the dream to make education accessible to all brought together three visionaries, Smt Durgabai Deshmukh, ShriK.L. Rao and ShriC. Anna Rao in the early decades of India’s independence. The end was to draft a dynamic space for knowledge sharing that would seamlessly blend traditional values, learning with ultramodern outlook and explanation in the heart of our country, Delhi. The dream bloomed into reality with the aid and stimulant rendered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams( TTD) and Sri Venkateswara College made its modest onsets in Andhra Education Society 1961. The foundation gravestone of the present day lot in Dhaula Kuan was laid in the same time by prestigious Indian champion and statesmanDr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Since also, the Upanishadic principle “ Truth through tone- education ” has been the guiding principle in all our trials. therefore, began our trip in shaping sensitive, balanced global citizens of hereafter whose heart is dressed in indigenous values and mind is stoned in critical thinking. The College relentlessly pursued the ideals set by authors and taken pride in creating a holistic literacy atmosphere for scholars from different backgrounds at a minimal cost in the public capital for further than six decades. Sri Venkateswara council offers a platform for scholars from different backgrounds to exceed in academics, exploration, artistic as well as social conditioning and sports.
