FRI Dehradun has completed the interview process for Ph.D. admission and the final merit list was released. Those candidates whose name is on the selection list are required to pay the requisite admission fees by November 03, 2021. The FRI Dehradun Ph.D. course will start on November 09, 2021. After independence, it was renamed as Forest Research Institute and Colleges. In 1988 FRI Dehradun was considered as one of the institutes under autonomous organizations ICFRE (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change- Government of India). The institute offers masters, diplomas and doctoral programs. The admissions to all the courses of the institution is done on the basis of various entrance test conducted by the institute itself. Candidates will be further shortlisted for an entrance test with negative marking. 50% for general and 45% for SC/ST are minimum qualifying marks. The students will be notified of their results by post from the University and the list of shortlisted candidates for admission will be put up on the University’s Notice Board.
